HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT

We are so excited to not only be celebrating 10 years, but to announce that we are now in 3 Lynchburg locations — Daniels Hill, College Hill, and James Crossing (formerly Greenfield). We have adopted a branch from another ministry, expanding our reach and doubling the amount of youth we served this time last year. We are really excited to introduce them to wilderness adventures and build long-term relationships.

The groups that we've adopted have already been faithfully serving in the College Hill and James Crossings communities for 7 years, under different ministries. They have volunteers who are consistently building trusting relationships with the kids, just like our Daniel’s Hill location has been for the past 10 years! We see this as a very natural addition to our ministry family and can't wait to begin a whole new year of adventures with even more amazing kids in our community!

The ministry we are inheriting these groups from actually used UMA’s model for mentoring as well as our policies and procedures which is allowing for a smooth transition, God is good! The adventure part will be completely new! We look forward to letting our older youth come on board and help with these new groups as well. There is so much opportunity for growth and sharing the love of Christ.

We will be launching a fundraiser on Facebook for #GivingTuesday, Nov 27th to raise $20,000. To help us raise money for next year and the new additions.
